Tango in the Tropics

A workshop for followers of all levels of Tango offering insights into the steps, technique, embellishments and musicality of Argentine tango. Our focus will be on caminata, pivots, ochos and adornos.
Shifting Lines

Using visual, aural, kinaesthetic guides, we’ll transform our human form into beautiful abstractions. Shift simultaneously/sequentially between images you create/observe/feel; inhabit spaces of fragment/whole, singular/multiple, solid/transparent; and find where they meet.

She did it HER WAY is a series of performance interventions for public spaces, bringing the incongruity of private women’s work into the public domain, provoking and challenging ideas on the visibility and invisibility of women’s work. Somebody's Aunt will traverse the Garema Place precinct, expanding their private personas in various public guises.
